MEGA MEDICAL CAMP @ ARAKULOYA RURAL(1/4/2015)
Subandha foundation welcomes 2016 with a medical camp in Allamputa, Dumbriguda, Jamuguda Villages, Hukumpeta (M), Arakuloya Rural, Visakhapatnam and the surrounding areas. As the erratic climate change indicates, this year there have been many small villages and towns which have seen the brunt of various diseases like jaundice, cholera, malaria, typhoid, dengue affecting the people. Scarcely available medical facilities in these areas make the situations worse. Raising upto to the hour of need, Subandha in collaboration with Chirag Foundation successfully pulled off a medical camp which treated about 1500 patients and made medication available to them for free. About Rs. 2,00,000 worth of medicines were given to the 1500 people who participated in the camp. The camp also aimed at creating awareness among the public about the importance of maintaining hygiene and how the diseases maybe prevented with few simpler everyday precautions. The camp was a good way of kick starting 2016.
We thank all our donors, our Visakhapatnam volunteers and especially Chirag Foundation for associating with us & making this event a grand success.
