In continuation to our Waste Segregation Project, we organized an awareness program for 200 residents and Govt School of Venugopal Nagar, Khammam and we distributed dust bins to promote the idea of segregation.

In this event, on 4th December 2014, Subandha Foundation distributed around 350 trash cans to the students at the school and residents of Venugopal Nagar. It detailed the statistics of waste generated by the world, by city and by person. It illustrates how public awareness and participation of students and their parents results in successful waste management by following 3R formula that is Reduce, Reuse & Recycle. Subandha Foundation depicts the consequences of improper management of waste and how it may ultimately pose a serious threat to their lives and well-being. Moving forward, we will identify many such schools and residents to bring awareness among children. All our team requests is to segregate waste and make our country a better country.
